Earlier today (Sunday) I went to REI looking for a new pair of ski boots. The service was terrible. No one there to help and customers fitting their own boots and only one sale person to help. On my way home I stopped at the Sports Den. What a great experience. Luke helped me and had me try four different boots and he was a great help, Great guy, very helpful and he knows his stuff. Sports Den has sweet gear and boot fitting. I have small feet and it's always a pain to find men's ski boots in my size. So I was pleasantly surprised when Sports Den had a 24.5 shell in stock (Salomon Quest 14's). They thermo-molded my liners and fit me with custom foot beds. They fit nice and tight just like I like them. Best ski shop in the Salt Lake City – I've been going to the Sports Den for over a decade, and I'll go there decades to come. They are awesome! They have the best selection of modern ski gear that I've seen in Salt Lake. This season one of the guys there suggested a fat powder rocker ski that I wasn't too sure about because it didn't seem like it was going to be all-mountain enough for me. best boot job – I just got some new boots from the sports den in salt lake city. This shop is by far the best ski shop I have ever been to. The boot fitter (Luke Skywalker) knew exactly how to fit my boots properly. I have never had a boot fit so well as the ones they fit for me. I have shopped and worked with many of the ski shops in Utah and will never go anywhere else. The staff is very professional and they know exactly how to please customers. Only Ski Shop I Trust – I've been going to Sports Den for years. I have difficult feet and they are the only people in town that have had success finding boots for me. Great variety. Even better prices. Don't be misled by the location to think they are overpriced. I have found they have the best prices in town and online. Do your homework. This place rocks. Best Ski Shop and Sporting Goods in SLC. – I have been a customer of the Sports Den for over 15 years and always look forward to going to "The Den" for all of my sporting good needs. Look elsewhere.. – If you're looking for a sports shop in the salt lake area be sure NOT to look at Sports Den in Foothill Village. In addition to high prices and questionable selection you'll also get some of the worst service available. If you can get a staff members attention (good luck), you'll be faced with a lack of knowledge, poor attitude and in some cases, downright rudeness. Since we live nearby we've given this place lots of chances, probably too may, now were done. Save time, money and frustration..go elsewhere.
