Been shopping around for snowboards and saw that sport check had a friends and family deal on, 25% off, with an additional 10% off their clearance items. Went to this location after I had been to the North end Hyde Park one, because they had the snowboard I wanted but a year older (2023 model) at an even better price. I walked into the store specifically looking for the Nike section. It was very small compared to a few other locations that I have gone to. I was greeted by Mikayla with a smile. She asked if I needed any help and her demeanor was friendly and helpful. I was hoping to buy the men's Nike grey sweatpant with the wide leg opening in a size small, but unfortunately, it was out of stock. My experience was very disappointing. I went to buy shoes, and there was not much of a selection, but that was not the reason I was so disappointed? Staff were very busy on their phone, talking about their date last night and what was said. Then a supervisor came along and started talking about someone that came in and tried to rob them and that back and forth discussion, while I was trying to try on shoes.
