Patterns should definitely be sent in a plastic envelope/mailer. My pattern arrived in a damp paper envelope with a fully soaked corner. I removed it from the envelope and let it dry fully before opening it up, but it did have a few rips in the area where the corner was. I will use the service again, but would suggest a more weather-resistant envelope.
I had a very specific print request - one that had nothing to do with fabric layouts. For an art piece i was doing, I needed prints on transparent paper. Spool and Spindle was able to respond to my request, workshop designs with me to meet both my needs and their capabilities, and print the final copies less than a day after payment. Throughout a week of back and forth emails, they responded promptly, timely, and professionally.
I use them to print off my patterns and they are amazing!! Great customer service, highly recommend.
