Let's all acknowledge that not being able to keep your parents in their home -- or your home -- is hard. Finding a place you truly trust with their care is even harder. Moving my mom out of assisted living and finding this safe space in north San Diego County with high standards for consistent care has been a gift for our mom and our family. Seniors can be so vulnerable. My sister and I can finally exhale thanks to the care and safe space at Splendor Valley.

Mark and Marissa cared for my dad with the utmost respect and professionalism. He needed a lot of help and they were there for us. They provided much needed guidance. I will be forever appreciative of them for taking in my dad in our time of need.
Tomorrow, Thanksgiving Day. will mark the 10-month mark of Mom's passing at Splendor Valley. As I reflect, I am so Thankful to Marisa and all of the staff at Splendor Valley for the care and attention that they provided Mom.
