Spirit Rock is my happy place. I’m so grateful to live in Oakland and be driving distance. Beautiful lands, housing that is so comfortable and easy, best food ever, amazing staff, amazing teachers amazing animals. Love. Love. Love.
Peaceful place to do deep meditation and engage with kind and simple dharma practice. The land is kind and well cared for and is held warmly my equally kind and well cared for staff.
What a powerful experience. I attended a BIPOC silent retreat. It was exactly what I needed. I felt so loved and supported. I can’t imagine attending a regular silent retreat. I’m convinced that I will only feel safe in a BIPOC retreat while we are in this state of the world. My hope is the retreat center will continue to provide and support the global majority (people of color). We are not minorities. I hope more white folks will love and accept the beauty of this planet and celebrate all earth’s children. Love, Elana
The Earth Day retreat in the meadow was absolutely breathtaking. Chanting from our tribal members in group song was the heartbeat of the experience. Thank you, Spirit Rock, for such a wonderful production.
