I was the first resident of Spirit Care Homes and live there for 10 months starting July 1, 2023 while recovering from severe hospital deconditioning, brain trauma and sepsis. The care provided by the caregivers was excellent. The food was appetizing and the chef provided a good variety. My husband was the first resident to actually live at Spirit Care Homes beginning July 1, 2023. After spending three months on the trauma floor at North Memorial Hospital, surviving a ruptured colon, severe sepsis, hospital deconditioning, brain trauma and comatose nerves, he was moved from the TCU he had been sent to, to a long term care facility. My sister has been in two other facilities and my family is very thankful that we found Spirit Care. The care is so much more personal and they keep her involved instead of letting her be alone in her room. The staff is great. Visiting is really nice because we can come & go any time and it feels like going to a relatives’s home for a comfortable visit. The confidence I feel in having her at the house makes things so much easier than it was previously. Love this place and these people
