We are extraordinarily grateful for our experience with Spicewood Cottages. When we needed respite care for a loved one while our family was traveling out of town, their wonderful staff gave us something incredibly valuable: genuine peace of mind. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Forget my review of Jan 21, 2022. Within a month things went bad quickly in the memory care cottage.

Very disappointed in lack of activities or things for residents to do. They eat, and stay in their rooms! No interaction with anyone, which is not good for anyone! Their is one staff person around on weekends, and you might see them, if you go at the right time! Very different situation, than I was told, before I put my loved one the there! Would not recommend this facility!

They take very poor care of your family here. The only ones that care are the nurses. The doctor is just a PA, not an MD AND COULD CARE LESS ABOUT your loved one in their care. the owner is fake and doesn't listen to your concerns about your loved ones care. Please don't send your family here. They won't even send them to the ER after a fall or incident WITHOUT YOU FORCING THEM. HORRIBLE CONDITIONS HERE!
