Words can’t encompass how terrible and unprofessional of a law-firm this is. I have dealt with all kinds of property transactions over the years, never have I had such horrendous experience with a firm. Mr CEO, wake up and run your company properly. I used this solicitor and they are the best solicitor that I have ever used. I made an offer on the property on 8th of January. Even though the mortgage offer was delayed by the mortgage broker (i.e. not the fault of solicitor) and we could not get the mortgage offer until towards the end of February. Despite the delay above from the mortgage broker, Spencer Lockwood Solicitors still completed the purchase by March 31st 2025 (before the Stamp Duty hiking). Remortgaging. Writing a review out of desperation in the hope that someone at this firm replies to my emails. If you are reading this, please, please reply! I have never encountered such unprofessionalism. There has been radio silence via email. Two people in charge of my case left without doing any handovers. I've called and been on hold for 1.5 hours. We completed the purchase of our property in September 2023. Although this experience wasn’t the best, it wasn’t the worst. However we’re still waiting for any update on land registry and have received no documents or contact for at least 10 months, despite having sent multiple emails during that time. All our emails have been ignored and no one answers the phone when we call. We cannot extend our lease without this information.
I would rate this scammers for 0 if I could. For over 8 months they won’t be able to proceed with lease extensions and ignore all emails from me and leaseholder solicitors. 4 times they change person who looks for case as result whole process was spoiled and additional charges being put on me . And of course you never be able to call them , over 4 hours on the line left unresponsive. Avoid this scambags !!!
