Ben is not a horrible person, but he is a lawyer. He is court-appointed for a reason. I truly believe court-appointed lawyers sabotage cases on purpose, and that’s what he did with my husband’s case. He attempted to fight, but the state came in with evidence that he acted clueless about, and I mean he had nothing to say. Like all attorneys, make sure you communicate and are upfront and honest so that he can give you the best advice and help possible.
