From the parking lot to the springs is approximately one half mile. Half of the hike is easy and half is more challenging. In dry weather the trail surface is much more manageable. Beautiful views from the springs all year long. The springs are "warm" springs, not technically "hot " springs. The source is 98 degrees and the two lower pools are 88 and 84 respectively.
Long hike in the winter but worth it
Was a very nice setting, but springs are just warm. We had hoped they were going to be hot. Hike up was very easy.
First thing in the morning 6:30 am, the trail was empty and had the hot springs to myself for at least an hour.
