Beautiful hot springs. Very challenging for an older couple, but finally made it to the top. Second half of trail is very rocky, and definitely helps to be in good shape. Being over 50 and not used to challenging my inner Billy goat, thought about quitting several times, but finally made it to the springs. Proud of my self for accomplishing the trail. Worth the physical challenge. Water was not hot, but warm, but still worth the climb just for the Beautiful scenery!
Warm, not hot
The best part often goes undiscovered: the upper pool has a cave that appears to be where the spring source is. It’s like a sauna, though not quite as hot, the water is clear and clean, and the cave can fit five or six people. It’s magical.
Got there early and we’re the only ones for a few hours. Not too hot but with the morning sun hitting the spring it’s great
