I was referred to Specialty Nutrition after a recent diabetes diagnosis. It took several phone calls/messages to get appointment set up. They then tell me that I need to confirm that my insurance would cover nutrition visits. As a patient with insurance, I am used to the provider verifying this information. On my first visit, I guess I was expecting a more formal setting. I was not weighed, measured or anything of the like. I was asked what I weighed and how tall I was etc....
