They treat everyone like criminals. No credit card only check. Photograph your license. I need to trim the lumber to get in my car. Sometimes they will do that and other times it is your problem to cut the lumber. Really wish there was a better option in Wilmington. You are pretty much on your own if you buy from these lowlifes.
As an individual seeking a small amount of wood (African mahogany, Sapele and soft maple most recently) I found the guys in the warehouse to be very helpful. Carter was particularly accommodating, offering special pricing on certain "left-over" boards, and even sending me to a competitor for something they didn't have. The prices are excellent for those who want rough-sawn hardwoods.
If you are looking for exceptional quality in wood products, you do not need to look any further. I am a very satisfied customer of theirs. Call them today and get to work on your projects! You will be happy you did.
