Meir's been my CPA for my New York optical business since 2007 and over the years has saved me real money on taxes while keeping my books in order, and he's always quick to get back to me whenever I have a question, which makes a huge difference when you're running a business. I feel like my taxes and finances are in good hands with him and I'd recommend him to any New York small business owner.

I have worked with Meir Spear for over 20 years, and I have nothing but the absolute HIGHEST praises!!! Meir is not only diligent and resourceful, but he stays on top of clients like no other ..... something that is greatly appreciated when thoroughly busy and consumed trying to run a business. Wether it's filing returns or fighting the IRS, Meir has come through with undeniable efficacy! You are in amazing hands with SpearCPA.

SpearCPA is the best accounting firm I’ve worked with over the last 12 years of being in business. Meir, the owner, is responsive and provides all of the information necessary along with any other request we submit. This firm communicates efficiently and works with their clients to ensure all tax needs are taken care of. I would recommend Spear CPA for both business and personal tax needs as he’s always delivered and ensured we’ve stayed compliant year after year.

They’ve supported me through a transition from a full-time employee to a retired/self-employed setup, and their advice has always been clear, practical, and right on point. Now that my finances include investments and an LLC, their guidance is even more important—and they continue to deliver with the same level of precision and care. It’s rare to find a firm that combines expertise with consistency like this. Hig... read more

Meir and his team have been so helpful. My partner and I were in a tight situation after some miscalculations with previous accountants and Meir very quickly got us back on track. He's always very quick to respond and gives us clear and actionable advice. Professional, friendly and easy to work with.
