Have used Sparx for more than 5 years, both Gen 2 and Gen 3, and couldn't say enough great things about it! Being able to sharpen skates at your house within 10 minutes is a HUGE time saver and knowing the edges are exactly how you like them is unmatched! From using at home or bringing to tournaments, Sparx is easy to use and well worth the investment! I bought new skates and had them "professionally" profiled. My issue with Sparx is with their shipping…they use USPS standard shipping, and it’s terrible. It routinely takes over 2 weeks to receive your grinding wheel orders, and rather than upgrade their service they will just give you the runaround and blame the weather. It’s patronizing, and a terrible way to treat their customers. I ordered a new grinding wheel ($89 after everything) on 1/16/25. It’s 1/29/25 and I have STILL not received my order.
