Machine is convenient. Sparx has misleading (shady?) business practices. Right now some sharpening wheels are not in stock, but you won’t know until you order. Once you purchase this machine, you are absolutely at their mercy. Also, Sharpening isn’t a dollar per. Super misleading (outdated advertising). Get it together Sparx.
Customer Service is non existent. Wont respond even when I ordered a unit and they never shipped. No way to get a hold of anyone. Very disappointing.
Excellent customer service, kept me informed of backordered item and when it will ship. Very easy to ask questions and they get back to you right away not to mention the quality of the products!!
Malheureusement les informations sur leur site sont trompeuses et pas à jour. Ils annoncent un aiguisage à 1$ environ. Ça fait 1 an que j'ai la machine et je suis rendu à mon 4e ring (anneau). La réalité c'est plutôt plus de 5$ pour l'aiguisage d'une paire juste pour l'usure de l'anneau. Ajoute ensuite le coût de la machine a 2 000 $. L'aiguisage est bon. We had an issue where our sharpener was stalling in the home position and not completing all the cycles. I sent a video to Sparx Support and it was determined to be a defective sharpening disc. They immediately sent me out a replacement sharpening disc at no charge.
