I am writing this review as a physician as a graduate of University of Michigan residency programs and a physician in town that I cannot believe that Sparrow is so dysfunctional that they can't get billing right for a Medicare patient. I would avoid this public nonsense health care system at all costs and go to Mclaren or Cleveland Clinic
Unbelievably unmotivated to help even with simple questions. Usually this signals a greater institutional problem.
I have no idea why I even went to another Sparrow facility after the last time. This is like a repeat nightmare with billing. Update months later- it continues to be impossible to get Sparrow to update a billing code even after the dr office has faxed and called and called and faxed. This place is a disaster.
Absolutely awful, and I mean AWFUL customer service here in the billing department. Called to discuss (kindly- I work in health care too) a discrepancy on SPARROWS part. Rude does not even begin to cover it. Treated with such unkindness and unprofessionalism- it is truly baffling. This kind of service does not belong in the healthcare industry.
