This is absolutely the worst and most difficult Credit Union to deal with in my experience. After 30 minutes of CD application detail and uploading of documents, I was once again required to upload the same documents for verification and after all that I was informed a representative would reach out by the end of the NEXT day. I don't know if the CD was purchased or WHY after all that someone would need to reach out. I wish I can score them a 0. Let me be very clear this isn't about the local branch is about the bank itself. I been banking with sccu for 16 yrs. I have a tenant who processes their rent payment as an electronic transfer. Instead of sccu depositing the money to my acct they withdraw my acct. How did this happened? No one knows . I called customer service. In order for me to authenticate my acct i must provide 6 pieces of information. But you allowed a withdrawal to be made from my acct without my aithorization. SCCU has the most and highest fees of any credit union I have worked with. They also combine this with generally bad customer service. They do tend to have decent rates but not any better than Launch FCU who have much lower transaction fees and much better customer service.
