I’ve been dealing with severe shoulder pain for quite a while and had already seen both a chiropractor and another massage therapist without much relief. The experience itself was fine…however, getting an appointment is a nightmare. They don’t answer the phone, and when you leave a message and they finally call you back, they tell to try and book online or call back (but THEY DON’T ANSWER). And, when you get online, it’s hard to book for 2 reasons: 1. I need gel removal added to the appointment…so, they tell you call for that, but again, nobody answers. 2. I have visited this spa on two occasions and had two very different experiences. The first time was very pleasant and relaxing. Great service (except for the front desk lady who is not welcoming at all), quiet spa, excellent massage, nice atmosphere and service at the pool. The second time, this past week, was very different. At check in, I was given a robe that had two massive holes in it from ripped fabric. Then, the behavior of other guests in the spa was appalling. Terrible massage. Massage therapist seemed uninterested in providing a quality massage and made me feel very uncomfortable. Sent an email to the manager Eric Lopez explaining my experience and has been over a month with no response, so here’s my review. Don’t go here. Drive to Naples and use the four seasons spa instead. Same price and the staff knows what they are doing.
Very poor experience with the JW and their Spa, which are certainly overpriced. The staff was dismissive, arrogant, and rude, a far cry from what one would expect when staying at these types of properties. We were about 10 minutes late which was due to us not getting our breakfast check in time from their own restaurant, but the Spa didn't ask or care. The facilities themselves were average at best.
