Hidden gem in Southbury! I was looking for a facial experience to release stress and get pampered. The facial was exceptional! The esthetician was particularly talented. She used a natural skincare with essential oils that was divine. As a spa customer, she told me I could benefit from the complementary use of the hotel’s eucalyptus-scented steam room, sauna, exercise room, salt water pool, and jacuzzi. I ended up spending the whole afternoon at the spa.
I’ve been to this spa twice now. Both times have been underwhelming. My first experience was a 90 minute Swedish that ended after 75 minutes. It wasn’t until I made it back to my car and realized that I was shorted time. The massage itself was good, but it’s clear that the massage rooms are just repurposed hotel rooms, as the curtains they pull across the windows don’t do much for the sound. By far the best spa I have ever been to! The spa is super clean and the staff are friendly!
Such a lovely spa. The staff is so kind. Ellen gave me the most relaxing, soothing massage. So gentle and comforting. I felt really at peace. Highly recommend booking massage if you’re staying here!
