Matthew was amazing. He focused on my problem areas -explained it all to me. I am feeling so much better . And he was a lovely person. Highly recommend !
5 stars for masseur, Matthew. If you’re looking for a deep tissue massage, he is wonderful and very knowledgeable. He focused our time on a problem area and I am feeling so much relief. Thank you Matthew! 2.5 stars for the facilities. Definitely a “tired” space that needs attention. Women’s locker room, showers, sauna all felt like they needed to be cleaned (but really updated). Enough so that I didn’t even want to use the sauna or showers.
I’d be ashamed to work here. An insult to the word “spa”.
Hot tub does not work and is not clean. Steam room is clearly very moldy. Sauna was finicky and not getting as warm as I’d expect. All of these things are included in the $40 per night “resort fee” at The Equinox but they are not maintained at all, so they are just stealing your money. Massage was GREAT, but I will not be returning because the facility was run down and not worth the cost.
Scheduled my appointment a week and half prior to trip for myself and a few other friends. Not only were the appointment times changed multiple for everyone, but they then cancelled my appointment 2 hours before and never were going to notify me. They did not offer a simple I'm sorry or try to be accommodating to find me another appointment.
