I really wanted to love this place because my actual spa treatment was amazing — my therapist did a wonderful job and the service itself was relaxing. Unfortunately, everything around the treatment left me with such an icky, uncomfortable feeling that I can’t recommend this spa. The manager was the biggest problem. Fabulous. From the eternal flames outside to the relaxation room upstairs, we had a great experience at the spa. We had massages (thanks Brian) and then spent the rest of the day at the spa’s outdoor pool. The spa pool is much smaller than the main resort pool, but it wasn’t crowded at all. There is SPF 50, aloe, ice water, and fruit infused water available for free by the pool. Food and alcohol services begin at 11am. The staff is very friendly and not overbearing as you swim or tan.
What a beautiful and peaceful place this is. I had a deep tissue massage with Aaron and it’s one of the best massages I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was tranquil and a great place to connect with yourself. Definitely not a party place which made it special for me. The spa music throughout the property keeps you relaxed, reminding you that you are there to recharge. The food was healthy and flavorful.
Massage was wonderful however the atmosphere and amenities were lacking. The women’s dressing room was coated in hair, the aromatherapy steam room was broken, had to ask staff to refill tea bags, stains on the bed in the relaxation/waiting room, and the jacuzzi was not hot enough. Not worth the premium price.
