When I was looking to start my first saltwater aquarium, I was told by a saltwater expert in a chain pet store to buy all of my coral rock from Southwest Reef because they have an amazing selection and also sell it by the pound. My boyfriend and I walked in and have been loyal customers ever since. They have been so helpful and genuinely devoted to our tank's success. Everyone there is so knowledgeable and welcoming. Absolutely the best place in town for marine aquarium supplies and livestock. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly -- and not intimidating or snobby. It's hard to find a reputable marine outlet that stocks quality livestock and stands behind their product (within reason). Their advice has been invaluable.
