Same here. He did some work for us that turned out good. But then we paid for new shutters & he went silent on us. We never got our shutters. Such a nice guy & then why, is he doing this to us.
If you want to get a round around, hire Casey. if you want excuses, hire Casey. There is great chance your job will be incomplete and your deposit missing. Hinsdale please don't get fooled by a "nice guy". Looks like I am not the only victim he has preyed upon from reading the new reviews. I have called and texted but believe my number has been blocked as I can use other phone numbers to leave messages. I hope we can work this through before upcoming litigation is started. $5500 is a lot of money to be ignored.
We are chasing Casey for $1500 that we gave him as a downpayment on shades. That was five months ago. He has gone dark on us and will not return a call or otherwise tell us what is going on with the order. Maybe this review will work to get him to return our money or finish the project. Or at least return a call.
I really enjoyed working with Casey at Southtown Interiors on a recent window treatment project. He was easy to communicate with, delivered and installed everything quickly, and made the whole process smooth and I love the finished look. I especially appreciated how thoughtful he was in selecting wallpaper I liked and sending samples directly to my home so will continue to work with him in the future.
I will recommend Southtown Interiors (SI) to any one that needs their shades repaired. It took a while to get someone meeting our criteria- Casey of SI did an excellent job repairing five shades of different diameters and lengths. SI also was also responsible for all interfaces with the manufacturer. They got the job done in a short time. WE are very grateful and happy with their work.
