Not a friendly bank to non-members. Tried to exchange denominations. Small ask. Wouldn’t do a thing for me unless I signed up for an account. Then laughed at me as if it was a joke.
I took a check there to cash that was drawn on their bank. they wanted to charge me 12.00 because I'm not an account holder there. Banks charge to cash their own checks now, ridiculous!!!
As a business owner, Ive never seen such unprofessionalism in my years of banking there. They intentionally put a hold on a mobile deposit for no valid reason but let my autopays go through and tag me with overdraft fees. The braindead manager Brian is a poor excuse for those of us who actually work for our money, stay clear of this money grab.
They like to put your money in other peoples accounts. No ATMs, find somewhere else to bank.
I've been to this location a few times and 2 times now I have had issues with cash deposits. First went into the wrong account, something without my name even on it. Today $200 magically was missing from my deposit and when the manager recounted the drawer, he counted with the teller who kept correcting him on the amount in the drawer. 20+ years banking with south state and no issues until now
