Very happy with my service from this bank
I have been using this bank for 5 years + and they keep changing hours at the 2 branches I go to. I work from 7am to 5pm and the bank closes way before that and then the drive through closes at 5pm. How am I supposed to be able to use the bank like this? Not to mention there ATMs hardly ever work. The working people that have Normal jobs can't got to the bank anymore I guess.

They Place 7 day holds on payroll checks that clear for them in 2 days or less. It’s a trap to get you to overdraft so they can hit you with fees while they have your payroll on hold to the side that they themselves aren’t releasing but got funded. Shame on South State. Not a real friendly Bank!
I wrote a review on this bank 4 years ago and gave 5 Stars. I am changing because this bank was awesome to come to but they have really gone down hill. Very rude employees. Don't get a hello like we use to. The employees act like we where a bother to them when we came in. Very stuck up people in this bank. The company needs to retrain they employees how to treat there customers.
