Since 1971, I've had a checking account when I packed off to college. A few banks in a Atlanta and a few towns over the decades. South State has been the worst experience in my banking life. Staying with the best, Synovus/Pinnacle since moving to Hartwell.
My wife & I opened up a joint checking & savings about a week ago. So far they’ve been great. The only thing they need to do is improve the SouthState app, it lags a little.
