Had a Basel cell skin condition removed by a great surgeon and her team. I was literally in and out within an hour. Took a week to heal. I was felt to feel like a human and not a number! The NHS is something we brits take for granted but serves us well. Keep up the good work guys 🥰 27/04/24
I have had to attend Southmead hospital twice recently for various tests and I can only say what an amazing awesome Hospital it is -Felt like I was in an airport with the Gate numbers (shame I forgot to bring my passport with me) all of the staff there from the general help on directions to the nurses are AWESOME !" Your NHS funding authority should be so very very proud of you guys xx
My mum, who's 84, had to go to Southmead for a colonoscopy. It's not the easiest hospital for us to drive her to, and it took my sister a little while to get there. However the care and attention my mother received was second to none. She felt like she was treated as a member of their family and not just a patient. I can't begin to thank the team that looked after her during the procedure and let my sister know once completed, as she couldn't stay in the department. Well done to everyone and thank you.
