I had one of the best bus journeys today. Caught 12:30pm T801 from Bridgewater to the RAH. Daniel was the driver, badge number 3431. As a young driver, he could teach a lot of other drivers how to drive with care and concern for his passengers, especially when braking. Some are really quite negligent in driving off whilst seniors are not safely in their seats, or brake harshly while they are making their way to the exit, which makes them lurch down the aisle. Why has the quality of driver's and service gone down hill recently? I have been using my credit cards for the bus tap on machine and half the time they don't work (both cards I tried physical card and phone) and then will take a random amount of money out of my account at a later date from the retries of scanning. Beyond the new machines not working I decided to download the app so I could just validate my ticket on my phone instead and only 2 bus drivers have known what it is (I catch the 864 route).
