My 94 year old father had a 2 week stay at Southland Nursing home, all staff, nurses and physical therapists were very professional and attentive to my father’s needs. I chose this facility cause it was highly recommended and I was highly pleased with the level of care my father received. I would also highly recommend this facility.
My father was recently transferred to Southland Care Center following major surgery, and our family has been deeply disappointed and concerned by the overall care environment and safety issues we experienced during his stay. My father suffers from dementia/confusion following surgery and is considered a high fall risk. When my husband had another bike accident we chose to go to Southland Care Center. He had been there before during COVID (another bike accident). During my husband's recent 100 days recovering, I learned so much about the caring people there from management, all the various nurses. therapists and maintenance - each knowledgeable, compassionate, caring people.
