Good price, in stock , is self service so check location in yard with staff or you'll be looking everywhere. Location on receipt not accurate and not all stock bays have lengths advertised . But overall .

Good bunch was quite impressed with this place had exactly what I needed for a good price nice tidy yard well organised offered to bring the wood to my car and had a good selection of decking oils etc other diy pieces inside wood stain actually got bit lost inside but actually found exactly what I needed right under the till thanks will come again

We have nothing but positive things to say about Southern Timber. The sales staff are really friendly and helpful. The delivery drivers are amazing, always so helpful and delivery today, definitely went above and beyond. It was a big order and a mega hot day, yet the driver helped carry the items up the drive. I wish I had asked the chaps name, as he definitely deserves a pat on the back. Such wonderful service, we won't order our timber anywhere else. Thank you all.

Previously had a brilliant service from Southern Timber spending over £400 for new fence panels with free delivery ( order over £100 ) Last week we ordered a further 2, and admittedly our error , expected free delivery . Unfortunately we were charged £15 delivery charge as our bill came to only £99.98 ( 2p short of the free delivery) . Had we known the fee was payable , obviously we would have purchased an additional item to cross the £100 mark. We queried this with Southern Timber and spoke to the manager , seeking a refund... read more
