I highly recommend this kennel. It is a wonderful place with large runs and a great location out in the country. We have been taking our dogs to Southern Star Ranch Boarding Kennel for years, and they always love to go. The employees love the animals and treat them well. It is a great comfort to know our dogs are taken care of by loving people while we travel. Our dogs have plenty of space for playing outside. The kennel is clean. The employees are also great trainers.
Southern Star Ranch has excellent boarding facilities, their inside kennels are very spacious and clean. Kennels have a door leading to a big long run to the outside which is secure offering lots of fresh air and sunshine. The Ranch is well maintained and staffed by caring competent people. My Maggie Mae has been going there for several years and We've never had a hint of an unhappy dog. She has had long and short stays . The kennels are very roomy and air conditioned and heated. Weekend hours make it very convenient.
Southern Star Ranch is the best boarding facility I have ever used and as a retired Army officer, we have had to kennel our dogs on many occasions. The staff and owners are very caring and the kennels are well built, secure, safe and well organized. Until recently we had 4 Golden Retrievers (one recently passed away), and they loved going to Southern Star. Indeed, we just got them out of Southern Star after boarding 17 days. We love Southern Star Ranch! I have been boarding my dogs here for the past 6 years and have always been very happy with the care they receive. The staff is professional and truly care about the animals they board. The facilities are spacious, clean, in a peaceful country setting that offers time to play in the dog park or pasture walks on the ranch. This place is definately not your average kennel. We also attended training classes here and the results were wonderful! I highly recommend Southern Star Ranch.
