I have a family member there who we have had to move in there. southern point neglects their residents and openly has roaches and bedbugs. I walked by one of the 60+ residents rooms and saw a elderly lady covered in feces and urine, I told a worker there and they said well clean her up right away but an hour later I walked back down the hall and she was still sitting there in the same chair with the same clothes on. Southern pointe is not a place I would bring my family members. I give this place -0 stars.

Have a loved one there now and they can't regulate the temperature in the rooms, the food is often too hard for elderly to eat and it seems they have a roach problem. Not to mention, they keep the activity director so busy with other things, the residents are bored to death because they rarely have an activity for them to participate in

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is terrible! Went to visit my grandma and this place is so understaffed, I’ve heard nurses/owners talk to their aids rudely, roaches crawling everywhere. Do not bring your family memrber here.

If you’re reading this, please spare whoever you are considering moving into this facility. This place does not need to be in business. My grandmother was a resident here and has since passed away recently. She was not taken care of at all. Her health declined so rapidly after moving here. Back in March, she showed symptoms of having a stroke, one being intense slurred speech.
