Very helpful and polite!
I work for a payroll provider and contacted them regarding an employee's garnishment. The purpose of my call was to try to get a copy of a garnishment that they were stating was served, but we did not receive. The rep was extremely rude and argumentative. She stated that I was refusing to file an answer or honor their garnishment, which was not exactly the case (I suppose if you squint really, really hard, you could make that connection, but it is a stretch...I mean, I am UNABLE to file an answer or honor a garnishment that ... read more
left a voicemail that was less than informative and lead to nothing being presented but numbers by a fast-talking person that sounds like a nightmare to deal with.
Many of their representatives seem to take pride in being unprofessional. They are also unable to keep thier records organized. Expect a ringing headache out of these folks.
I am always nice and polite and the agents have always been very helpful and unlike OTHER debt collectors, they were willing to take tiny payments with having to plead. I will say, they seem to be on guard and ready for an argumentative caller. When I'm nice, so are they. Its not the agent's fault I couldnt pay my bills as a young adult! It also isnt their fault when mistakes are made. It isnt their fault when you or I get garnished or served. It SUCKS, but be for real and act like an adult.
