If you're going to SOBS for more than a basic in-state W2 return keep reading... I used Robert at SOBS for three years on my personal and six businesses. Straight outa the gate Robert suggests changing my five LLCs to C-Corps and tells me this can happen immediately and without notice to the IRS. Robert is a machine, no nonsense, quick, competent and extremely kind on top of all of that. I have done taxes with many different people throughout the years and Robert is truly the best experience I have ever had.
I was referred by a coworker to Robert to do my taxes. I was expecting to get an estimate first before filing the taxes, when I got there, he told me there’s no such thing as an estimate and that I would have to file the taxes in order to get an “estimate”. His office was dusty, cluttered, and full of junk. As I was getting ready to leave, he told me if I use any other tax service online to pay for the identity theft protection. If I was anyone in this city, I wouldn’t recommend him or use him for your taxes.
