I have used various ISP's in Montana. Charter/Spectrum, Century Link, Blackfoot telecom, etc. And I have to say, using SMT the last year has been the first positive experience I have ever had with any ISP. First off, their estimated speeds. This is the first time with any ISP I have used that the estimated speeds have been completely accurate. I use the business class speeds of 100 down and up. Southern Montana Telephone Company has the greatest customer service! We have excellent internet and phone in a very rural area and never have any problems. They are the best!!
Inconsistent internet connection. On my "premium" internet package, i typically get 1-2 megs...many times less than 1 meg. For almost $200 a month. I find it hard to measure the Value they offer.
