Really excellent vendors with a wide variety! Purchased some furniture and they were so easy to work with, helpful in choosing fabric, and best of all the prices were very competitive!
What a shame. I used to love perusing the aisles of Black Lion when it was on Park Road. I could always find little gems or wonderfully unique pieces for my home. Since it moved to Carolina Place & changed names, it is nothing like the original. It’s now essentially just a really bad flea market with predictably cheap, low quality products. I’ve been twice & couldn’t find a single item of value to purchase. The space feels dingy, sad & just plain “old”. The staff at this establishment are some of the most disrespectful people i have ever encountered. If you do not want people sitting in furniture, do not place said furniture in front of the TVs in the cafe. I recommend placing signs on furniture pieces that are not to be sat on. (Common sense would tell you this). Furthermore, when you ask someone to get up from said chair and they do, and comply. Leave it at that.
