Absolutely disgusting place especially the way they treat the staff. I would also like to add that there is a white dog that is never on a lead and it lives at U70. I would never let my kids work here under paid and over worked! That poor gardener copped it from a handful of whinging residents there which resulted in him leaving I hear. But better working conditions apparently. SCC do better before you lose more staff.
I got the opportunity to do my placements in Southern Cross and thoroughly enjoyed my 3 weeks with the staff and residents. I learnt a lot and the staff were very friendly as well. Also, i met some amazing RNs as well who were welcoming and ready to help me with my tons of questions, which i asked during my placements.
