I’ve been here twice and both times have been a negative experience. The guy in there told me I’d have to wait a week (and pay $60) for a seat adjustment um no. In addition the customer service is below par. They don’t have the approachable and nice feel of the other bicycle shop in town. They have nice clearance bibs (but it’s really just the same price as it would be online…I just TRY to shop local).
NEGLIGENT! They installed a riser and new handlebars for my bike and, OOPS! They didn't tighten the handlebars with the torque wrench. On my second ride after handlebars were installed, I was riding on the levee and handlebars became so loose that I was literally afraid they would fall off. I had to walk home the last 1/2 mile of my ride. This was potentially a VERY dangerous situation for the bike to start falling apart while I was riding it. They did a wonderful job replacing my tires and tubes! Brought it in the day I wiped out, they changed it right away, and the cost was very reasonable! Great company!
A huge thank you to Mason and John for helping my friend and I out while we’re biking across the country! They both were very friendly, professional, and easy going during our interactions with them. The shop is also well-stocked and has a great layout! Amazing shop that bicyclists should check out!
2/16/22 brought in brand new carbon wheelset and bought freehub from SB and had them install it. Come to find out after first ride they installed incorrect freehub so I contacted DT Swiss and got appropriate freehub shipped direct to me. I installed it and bike works great now.... Went back to SB to see if they would refund or even give partial credit for the incorrect freehub they mounted to my bike but was told no... PSA. I did not have the $20 Endcap but did have the freehub that they incorrectly sold me and was not offer... read more
