My experience has been unacceptable. Getting clear and consistent information about my account and how my payments are being handled has required repeated calls and follow-ups. Customers should not have to chase a lender for basic transparency about their own account. If you already finance with SAFCO, document everything, keep every receipt, and carefully review every payment. I have lost confidence in how my account is being handled and am looking forward to refinancing and ending my business with this company.
If I can give a 0 out of 5, I would! Save yourself the headache and stay away from SAFCO. My experience has been extremely frustrating!! I made a $2,000 principal-only payment for my auto loan, and getting clear verification that it was applied correctly has been unnecessarily difficult. I’ve had to keep calling, send emails, and following up just to get answers about my own money.
