Love the staff and parents at this place! A great opportunity for kids to do constructive activities and stay busy. My babies take classes here and I am VERY grateful that the Y has committed to offer affordable classes and activities in our community. I've never had any issues with any of the staff they have CONSISTENTLY been kind and respectful to us and I have two of the busiest kids n the Y. ( not bad just busy lol). Incredibly rude staff. Insulted my intelligence and indirectly called me a liar multiple times in a less than 5 minute encounter. I recommend everyone stay as far away as possible.
Staff answering phone calls are incompetent and provide inaccurate information. I was provided wrong information from multiple staff when registering my child for swimming lessons. They told me registration was only done in person. However, when I showed up on the opening day for registration as soon as they opened, they said all classes were filled with individuals who registered online. This is the fourth time I go to a group class and without any previous noticed, the classes get canceled. The excuse was that the instructor was sick for the Zumba classes and there was no excuse or reason on the cancelation for two of the step aerobics classes on two consecutive Saturdays. These four canceled classes happened in just one Month, May 2024 and I have been a member at this YMCA only for over a month.
