My housing emergency has been in effect since February of this year with New Bedford Public Health& Safety has condemned my family and I'm home. I went to the housing court for help and file important documents. When Ms. Olivia was extremely unprofessional, and rude towards m6 emergency housing situation. Get there early, BEFORE 8:30am on Friday mornings, To get in line, to see a free "Lawyer For The Day". They were helpful, but there was alot of people there. They only stay until 12:30pm. It's first come first serve. *Make photo copy(s) of all your documents, before you go. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS AS TENENTS. USE GOOGLE GEMINI, TO BECOME YOUR OWN LAWYER. THANK GOD FOR THAT, BECAUSE I LEARNED ALOT OF LAWS, THAT THE PLAINTIFF (LANDLORD) WAS TRYING TO TRAP ME. DO NOT GO INTO "MEDIATION" WITHOUT A LAWYER.

This should be called the junk debt buyer court. They usually have a bill of sale with your name, no other evidence. They don't follow the law at all. Under Massachusetts law, a senior or someone that's disabled can not be made to pay a debt. I'm tired of going here and listening to a crooked court ....follow the law... If the debtor don't show up they get a default it should be the same way for the other party !!!!
