RecommendedI had open heart surgery at Charlton this past Thursday. The surgery itself was efficiently done with no complications, finishing within about 3-4 hours. Props to the cardiac surgery team, especially Doctor Zambrano. I also want to express my deepest gratitude to the staff of the Cardio-Vascular Intensive Care Unit and the Cardio-Vascular Stepdown Unit. RecommendedI had surgery there yesterday, and the care was excellent dr. Lover me and his team were excellent in every minute since I went into surgery. He explained everything to the point. Since I came into the hospital until I left I felt very please to have chosen Charlton hospital.
Staff only wants to give you your medications every 12 hours even if you don't take your medication every 12 hours. Even medicine that will give you horrible withdrawals if you don't take the medication that you've been taking at a certain time for years. Awful experience here everytime I've been admitted
Recommendedexcellent care for an emergency appendectomy
wife went in at the direction of our family doctor to the ERby ambulance. She was having a deep thrombosis...blood clots in her leg and arms. Very serious life threatening condition.Much worse than heart attack. 30 % death rate from this sort of thing. Waited in ER for 2+ hours before they did a sonogram. As wife is getting sonogram er nurses are stating...hope the sonogram tech doesn't screw this up like she did the last one... Told ER doctor my concern.. dont allow your loved ones to be brought here the policys of charlton are above inhumane if your hurt they push you out the door as quickly as they can if a family member is at end of life they must die alone this hospital should be investigated whats really going on behind thier doors
honoring your end of life visitation policy. everything open except seeing your loved one pass? with no covid. shame on your administration
RecommendedEveryone was great except the registration person. Acted like we were an interruption of her day. Also quite surprised by the lower quality of PPE she wore.
