I warn people to be cautious if contacted by South River. It is true that if a reverse mortgage company contacts you, they are not what you want to do business with. In 2017. They sold my ninety year old parents on a reverse mortgage, It went well for a few years and than after my mother died., They came after my father.. He said he would not consider a refinance unless I could be added to the reverse mortgage and that it would only take 30 days, but for 6 months he was harassed by a Tim with South River. Spoke to a person named Maxwell . I asked for a Supervisor. He stated he was a Supervisor. He sounded like the age of my youngest child. After two minutes of a conversation. He Insulted Me, And told me to go deal with Mutual of Omaha. If that's how they handle there clients. You might want to be aware. Young help isn't in your Best Interest in this type of Loan. Not to mention Lack of Experience and common respect.
