Can’t say enough about Gary and Austin from South Lyon Cycle! I absolutely love this shop for their quick turn around time, professionalism and kindness! I won’t use any other shop!
RecommendedI want to give a huge shout out to Gary of South Lyon Cycle. I took my gravel bike to him yesterday for an issue with my tubeless rear tire and not only did he let me bring my bike in before business hours but he also insisted on dropping my bike off to me at my job today because of my crazy nurse hours. This is above and beyond great customer service! Since I have lived in South Lyon for almost 20 years, I have had nothing but outstanding service from these guys.
I just went in there to get some information on a bike I was interested in and the gentleman that was in there was very friendly and helpful. I also bought a bike from them a few years ago and they were great back then too so when I decided I want to buy a bike this time there was no doubt that I’m going to buy it from them. Thank you!
Wanted to share how much we love our Burley Bee that Gary and South Lyon Cycle worked so hard to get for us, when they couldn’t be found anywhere (during pandemic)! I don’t know how he did it but he worked his magic and we are forever grateful! Our son is special needs and chronicle ill and can only ride for a little bit plus he is immune compromised and suppressed. Gary and Mark do a great job. Gary is a super nice guy. I love dealing with a smaller shop who talk to you and lead you in the right direction. I bought two bikes from Gary and bring them there for tune ups. I love the place! I always try to sway my family members there whenever they need a bike. Keep up the great work.
Excellent service from South Lyon Cycle! I purchased a new bike seat today and Gary installed it, then went above and beyond my expectations to help me get it adjusted just right.
I brought a bike in which only had a brake issue which needed adjustment. Now that I paid $140 my brakes are only ok, I don't believe they did the work they billed for, the new chain they sold me is worse than I was off as it now jumps, and the rear wheel now has a creak/loose spokes. They were not confidence inspiring and they did not do good work.
Gary is so knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. This shop is a real small town gem!
