Very rude receptionist over the phone
I am a dual transplant recipient and I am on immune suppression medication which makes you prone to skin cancer. I had an appointment with Dr Tan recently the last time I saw Dr Tan was in February 2023 where the consultation was more in depth and I even had some spots frozen of my arms which I believe cost around $150 to $175 out of pocket. Have been regularly seeing Dr Brian DeAmbrosis for 20yrs. IMO, best skin doctor in Brisbane. Excellent. His staff, nurses and reception efficient and kind.
Reception is not well managed or is severely understaffed. This has been an ongoing issue for many years and still hasn’t been resolved. It can take up to five calls before anyone answers, and even then you’re often placed on hold for 15 minutes. My family have been coming here for 3 years, and my experience with reception has consistently been challenging. Dr Vin however, has been excellent.
