Amazing two night stay Very relaxing Loved the hot tub Great food in local village Lovley countryside walk
The place is lovely, great location, everything you need is provided with the place and the hot tub is fantastic. I've reduced a star due to a the shower, the water temperature varied from boiling to freezing while it was set for a while and no one else was using the water. I've ended up not properly showering for 3 days while using the hot tub and it's chemicals and thats pretty disappointing when you're having a weekend away...
We had the absolute pleasure of staying at South Downs Rural Retreat for our wedding, along with some of our guests, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We had a wonderful stay. What a beautiful setting. The view was stunning and the pod was really well equipped and immaculately clean. Emma was lovely – left us to it, but was very friendly on bumping into her and I don’t doubt she’d have been very responsive if we’d have had any issues. Local area was lovely and we had a fab lunch at the Gunn Inn, a short walk away.
This was our second visit to South Downs Rural Retreats; the first was two years ago. We loved it then, and still love it. The lodge was comfortable and finished to a good standard. It was furnished with everything we needed for our stay. We are a family of four. The girls (twin 6-year olds) loved the bunk beds, TV, lawn area and hot tub.
