Great little outdoor shop. Their selection of essential outdoor gear and literature is excellent. Their pricing on goods is fair. If you plan to backpack, hunt, climb or just hike the Black Hills, I recommend this shop in the event you forgot something or need to upgrade your gear. Also, the folks who operate the shop are professional, courteous and quite knowledgeable.
Friendly knowledgeable staff with high quality gear and good local beer. We were able to find what we needed. Highly recommend!

Awesome place! We traveled from Wisconsin for our son to do a 3 day Devils Tower guided climbing. Pete his guide was awesomely matched with our 15 year old and he made his first outdoor climbing adventure a memorable one. He taught him a ton and challenged him several times including the day of the climb choosing a slightly harder route than the traditional Durrance route that had 2groups ahead of them.
