It seems as if malls are becoming a thing of the past.They're all pretty dead these days ...
Had great memories of this mall, now it is just a shell of its former glory. There are maybe four stores left, only area that gets the most activity is the bus stop, Huge empty parking lot with tons of empty spaces. The entire top floor is blocked off to the general public with a wall. Only a matter of time until this once famous mall gets bulldozed and turned into Rubble.
South county mall is my favorite mall out of any in the St.Louis area. I have been going there since I was a young kid. Unfortunately alot of stores are slowly closing and there is not as many people that go there anymore. I work in Spencer's in the south county mall and really enjoy the environment. As sad as it is to say the south county center mall is slowly dying out.
Sad. Used to be a thriving Mall! Was so depressing I didn’t even do a complete lap. Springfield MO has better shopping facilities -? no holiday decorations used to go there just to see Famous Barr Christmas trees - the nostalgia is a sad sight - I won’t return
