I recently visited the community and I am confident that my grandparents chose the perfect place to call home. The property is beautiful, the staff is friendly and always willing to help, and the food is comparable to 5 star restaurants in downtown Charleston. I highly recommend to anyone looking for themselves or a loved one.
I am a caregiver for a resident that lived here the place is beautiful but the CNAs seem to hate their job and are rude to the patients residents
Such an amazing facility! The staff and nursing team are friendly and always attentive to the residents needs. The facility is clean and well run and I would always recommend bringing your family here.
If you're looking for an active independent or assisted living community for someone you love, I cannot recommend South Bay highly enough. They have a waiting list—and after seeing it firsthand, it's easy to understand why. The community is absolutely beautiful. The spacious two-bedroom apartments, especially those that open directly onto the peaceful pond, feel more like luxury residences than assisted living.
