I have never walked away from here satisfied! The knowledge base of some of the staff is marginal at best. In my latest attempt to purchase here I phoned ahead and asked if they had a product in stock and was told yes, made the trip and when I got there they didn't have it. The young man working there said that he assumed that they would, meaning he didn't look when I phoned ahead. I will not likely make another attempt.
Just entered the world of boat ownership and a family member recommended Sound Marine for the various odds and ends I needed. Picked up some Scotty stuff and a new anchor with rope and chain. Fantastic friendly service, and they braided the rope ends at no extra charge. Highly recommend this place!
