I am discouraged by my experience with Sound Federal Credit Union. I applied to a mortgage and found I had lowered credit due to missed car payments. This was a internal issue by sound in which I had everything set on auto pay and then they missed the payments and it significantly effected my credit. Now I have to deal with a credit score significantly worse than it should be and have a higher mortgage rate due to their negligence

Every single problem I have had they have made disappear. Straight up miracle workers. Huge shout-out to Shanna in customer service for her help earlier and that goes for the whole staff I have personally worked with. Phenomenal team and recommended
This credit union was fine until it went full DEI. The VP of Consumer Lending is totally useless and should be fired. Yet, since she is a DEI recipient, that isn't going to happen. They were EVICTED from their Westport branch due to non-payment of rent and had another branch in Wilton close. Rather than expanding, they are losing branches. They are even being sued by a former marketing company, they refused to pay, and even their former President, who was pushed out and happens to be a white male (simply not DEI enough). I have to say that working with Steve Tedesco, Shirely and staff at Sound Federal Credit Union has been smooth sailing. Such professional, caring and efficent set of team they have going on there. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family. Thanks guys for all the help!
